Collin McKinney Park

Collin McKinney Park, named after Collin County’s namesake, is set to feature a replica of the original home of Collin McKinney. This park will also be a great place to go if you are new to the McKinney area to learn more about the city and its founder.

Crape Myrtle Park

As the only site in the world to represent each of the 120 known varieties of crape myrtles, Craig Ranch in McKinney is lucky to have this rare park. Covering 7 acres of our master planned community, this serene park is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the scenery, especially the breathtaking flowers!

Dr. Kenneth Cooper Park

If you’re looking to get or stay in shape, but want to enjoy the changing seasons outdoors, try visiting Dr. Kenneth Cooper Park! With a half-mile rubberized track in a beautifully wooded setting, it’s the perfect place to run outdoors at Craig Ranch.

K-9 Corral Park

While all the Craig Ranch parks are dog-friendly, the K-9 Corral Park is designed around our four-legged residents. This one-acre dog park has a small dog section as well as a big dog section, making it safe and comfortable for you and your pup. This park even includes water fountains and a mulch ground cover, instead of the grass seen in most dog parks!

Millie Cooper Park

Joining together the urban and suburban aspects of Craig Ranch, the one-acre Millie Cooper Park has a Ying-Yang design. Enjoy a rotunda and open green space, along with beautiful landscaping, granite pathways and benches. If you want to step back and take in all that nature has to offer or enjoy a quick afternoon walk, then you’ll certainly love this McKinney park.

Rowlett Creek Park

This secluded hideaway hosts 30-acres of trees, walking trails and flowers along the peaceful white-rock Rowlett Creek. Also featuring a play structure, swings and a pavilion, this park includes plenty of space for the entire family to enjoy a picnic lunch or an afternoon outdoors!

Throckmorton Park

At the center of The Settlement, Throckmorton Park offers an abundance of open green space that’s perfect for a pickup football, soccer or kickball game. This park is conveniently located in the heart of our master planned community, making it easy for all residents to visit.

Van Tuyl Plaza and Veterans Memorial Park in McKinney

A community gathering spot for events like festivals, weekend farmers’ markets and more, Van Tuyl Plaza is an ideal place to host a variety of events. It is also home to the Veterans Memorial Park in McKinney, featuring a Wall of Honor inscribed with the names of servicemen and women from Collin County who sacrificed their lives in defense of our freedom.
